Measurement method:
Window recess width + approx. 40 cm 

In order to select the appropriate length of the curtain rod tube, it is recommended that it be at least 40 cm wider than the window recess (20 cm on each side). 
The length you choose in the product options concerns the length of the tube itself. After applying the decorative endings, they will extend the total length of the curtain rod on each side by 4 cm (8 cm in total). 

Attention: 
Do not install brackets at the ends of the pipe to prevent it from bending. A properly installed bracket is at least 10 cm from the edge of the pipe.
